Boy, I was REALLY in a hurry to get this remix done. It was like, I knew I was rushing, and though I didn’t have a set deadline for finishing, the rushing and rushing made my life seem like it wasn’t very fun. I mean, I just kept telling myself that the only two REAL obligations I have to uphold are merely living and dying, yet I remained in a hurried state, and I could NOT even begin to tell you why that is…

Seriously… ALABAMA. Amazing band. I used to absolutely LOVE this song when I was a kid. I mean, when it came on the radio, I used to make my dad crank up the volume and sing along with me. In fact, this song was probably (as a small child) my first realization of the power of harmony. (Even despite my parents listening to tons of great music like the Zombies and the Beatles et al…)

This being said, I think it’s a perfect pop song. Everything about it is amazing. The lyrics, the production, the harmonies, the way it makes you feel like riding around in a pickup truck in Kite, GA screaming the lyrics… It’s a perfect PERFECT pop song. (I accidentally just typed “poop song” first, and it really really made me laugh a lot more than it should…)

I mean, just check these dudes out! Then, who could forget THIS GEM! Great band, great song, and an absolutely absurd remix that probably never should have been made. I have been listening to a lot of “Benga” lately, so I decided to make parts of the song somewhat DUBSTEP-Y. This was a bit of an experiment, and hopefully it turned out okay. Enjoy my “In a Hurry Remix.”

PACE! (Yes, pace… it’s a variation on peace employed predominately by frat-boys and David Sampson.)
